Talk:Alain Locke
From Harlem Renaissance
Great start Olivia, I think it would be great if you added on some pictures to your page. -Alden
Awesome job, I just checked your page and it looked fabulous. Keep up the good work.

This is excellent work, Olivia. It flows well and is a well-rounded description of his life. Some minor things: pay attention to comma usage. When it is a piece of information that could be taken out (an apositive), it should have commas on both sides. For example, "His mother, Mary, also....." "Mary" could be taken out and the sentence would still make sense. Are you looking for a famous Harlem location? It's ok if it's another famous location that's not in Harlem. I would love it if you could include a short excerpt of Locke's writings. That would give the reader a better understanding of his beliefs. - Desiree
